Joe Lansdale is a great friend and a great writer. I’ve loved the guy, his family, and his work for decades. So when I was asked to narrate the audiobook of Joe’s western/fantasy novel, The Magic Wagon, it was like an answered prayer… It’s my favorite book of all the fine works I’ve been lucky enough to narrate. It’s Joe Lansdale at his best, and there ain’t no better. A medicine show, the corpse of Wild Bill Hickock, Indian vengeance, great characters and dialogue.
